The idea of KäftSmäll was first though of by Jimmy (Uncurbed, Crossing
Chaos, Scandinavian Jawbreakers), who thought while Trish (Warsystem,
Skitliv) from Canada was in Sweden for the summer, they should start a
band together and play raw punk. Jimmy would play guitar and Trish drums,
and they would record in Jimmys garage-studio in Jularbo (Avesta), Sweden.
Then came T.B. on vocals (known from Asocial and The Uncurbed Family) and
Daniel (Crossing Chaos, Spookshow) on bass. In a total of around 12
homemade-Swedish-moonshine-filled days on two separate occasions in the
summer of 2006, they wrote and recorded 21 original songs and two covers (Anti-Cimex
and Svart Parad). All lyrics are in Swedish and all songs are recorded and
mixed by Jim Chaos in his studio in his garage. When Trish moves to
Scandinavia later this year the band will continue and record more albums
and play some shows... (for those who do not speak Swedish, KäftSmäll,
translated to english, is: Käft=Jaw, Smäll=Punch)
