KARENSDAG channels the anxiety and anger that comes from being a worker. Through grindcore, death metal, black metal, punk and good ol’ rock ‘n’ roll they kick on the upper class without taking any shit from anyone! As the first hard rocking orchestra to ever perform their music in the native dialect called “värmländska”, they put a very particular touch on their working class mayhem. This debut, as well as swansong, includes 14 tracks with a production that would make Fenris himself blush in envy. All music is written, performed, engineered and produced by KARENSDAG for your pleasure!
The music starts of with the KREATOR-ish “Onger te å klättre på tak” through the CANNIBAL CORPSE-like “Det klepper sej inte själv” to the MOTÖRHEAD-pastichio “Friår”. Call it ”blue-collar metal” or why not “iron box punk”? We choose to call it: KARENSDAG!
